Violeta GHERASIM (Cibernetica Economica, 3rd year)

"Education plays a significant role in our lives and it requires lots of hard work and perseverance. It makes talents grow and dreams come true. What does Mazars have to do with all these? Well, to my mind, through its challenging and supportive CSR Scholarship program, Mazars becomes one of the biggest advocates of education and lifetime training. So thank you Mazars for believing in me and in my potential!

I find my experience with Mazars both challenging and inspiring. When I first found about the Mazars Scholarship I shyly said to myself that it was time I pulled myself together and wrote down all my experiences, both academic and extracurricular in a manner that everybody could understand the purposes of everything I gained in my life until that moment. It was not an easy thing to do, but the laborious process of writing the two essays actually turned to be a pleasant one. Inspiration and creativity came along, because writing about the things we love, the values we worship is part of ourselves. Then came the interview which was the most intense and genuine experience of this kind in my life. Not only did I come to know Mazars better, but I also came to know myself in a way I didn’t before. Proficiency is the word to characterize the entire process of selection.

So if you’re reading these lines and think of applying to the Mazars Scholarship, I wholeheartedly encourage you to do so! Dare to believe in yourself and make others believe in you as well! Who knows, maybe in the foreseeable future we shall all, as part of the Mazars Community, make the change Romania so utterly needs."

Ioana VLAD (FABBV, 3rd year)

"It is said that in order to have success, all you need is a single chance. The chance to be among the Mazars scholars is certainly an excellent start for my future career. More than this, it is a recognition of my achievements that encourages me to keep fighting to make my dreams come true!

From the first moment, I saw the Mazars scholarship as a challenge and I am glad that I took this step. I wanted very much to be one of the winners and I was prepared for every phase of the project, trying to be myself all the time. Regarding the selection process, the first word that comes to my mind is „different”. It was an opportunity to get to know me better, to discover the answers to some questions and to receive advice that I will put into practice. I am happy that I could live up to expectations and that I share the same values as Mazars: respect, integrity and responsibility.

With Mazars support, I will continue to get involved in the community and I hope to prove that the investment made in me was not in vain. I am proud to be one of the scholars and I will always be grateful for the confidence that I was given. I truly recommend this program to all the students because it represents an excellent opportunity to get to know talented young people and also a great team of people who puts passion in their work and who wants to support you!"

Christian PUSCASU  (FABBV, 3rd year)

"From my point of view, the Mazars Scholarship is an outstanding opportunity for an intrepid student to exhibit his or her unique blend of passion to perform and pertinent personality. This competition seeks to identify young professionals willing to stay ahead of the crowd on all levels of personal development – analytical capabilities, emotional intelligence and refined spirit.

However, the selection process is not at all similar to a standard recruiting procedure. Firstly, Mazars is looking for a flexible and open-minded attitude combined with a desire to strive for perfection and the potential to become a genuine game-changer. Secondly, when analyzing the pool of applicants, all details are considered: values, hobbies, plans, opinions – the complete person. I think that this approach is both innovative and attractive as it shifts its focus beyond the academic and professional achievement.

Moreover, I consider the Mazars Scholarship a motivation to believe in my vision of the future. It proves that Mazars is committed to actively foster talent and support our plans. On the other hand, it rewards my sustained effort from previous years and fuels the ambition of pursuing my dreams.

I truly hope that offering the proper incentive for the next generation will become a real tradition. So I encourage all high-profile students to apply and feel like a true winner!"

Anca ISBASOIU  (FABBV, 2nd year)

"The Mazars scholarship is an exciting challenge that strengthened my motivation. It encourages students to be imaginative authors of their future ambitions and adds not only to personal growth but also to the growth of the society by rewarding talent. The first thing that caught my attention was the selection process that ingeniously required us to define ourselves as people. Apart from academic results and technical skills, Mazars understood that one’s attitude towards obstacles, one’s values are bricks in the wall of success. They value not only technical excellence but also the individual, his dreams and dedication in pursuing them. The encounter with the Mazars team was a valuable mentoring experience, helping us to see new perspectives due to their warm attitude and advice. The scholarship not only opens the gate to a long lasting relationship with the Mazars community and talented students but also gives me the thirst for further achievements, confidence and the desire to climb other mountains."
